General Meetings

Scheduling
In-person General Meetings are scheduled on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month. Times are almost always 2:30-4:30 pm, with the 2:30-3:00 pm time set aside for socializing. The main portion of the meeting starts promptly at 3:00 pm. Occasionally meetings start a little earlier and/or run a little later. Always check the individual event page on Mobilize to verify times.

Content
Meetings generally include upcoming events and actions, as well as other important updates. Additional content may include presentations, documentaries, guest speakers, and educational topics. Frequently there is time for discussion and questions.

If you have ideas for meeting content, please send us an email. Member input is always encouraged, and we have even had members speak at meetings.

Location
While we occasionally receive requests to hold meetings in other areas of the county, meetings will continue to be held in Everett. We require an affordable, high capacity venue, with adequate parking and access to public transportation, that has availability fitting our meeting schedule and frequency. There are very few places in the county that meet those needs. Everett is also the county seat, sits at the junction of I-5 and Hwy 2, and is centrally located between the north and south county borders. The decision to remain here is one of balance.
