Vote NO!!

On these dangerous Ballot measures in November

A wealthy, Republican mega-donor from California has personally paid to put confusing initiatives on our ballot that will harm our health, our schools, our environment, and our economy. He wants a tax break for himself and his rich friends.

I-2066:  A yes vote would increase energy bills requiring utility companies to continue investing in outdated technology, and the costs would be passed onto families and businesses.  In addition, it attacks energy efficiency rolling back modern protections that make homes and businesses more energy efficient in addition to jeopardizing energy efficiency programs taking away important customer rebates, raising costs for Washingtonians.

I-2109:  A yes vote on this measure is a tax break for the extremely wealthy (99.8% of us do NOT pay this tax). It would eliminate billions of dollars being used for childcare and schools.

I-2117:  A yes vote on this measure hands oil companies even more tax breaks by repealing the Climate Commitment Act. The CCA is helping our state move toward cleaner energy goals by funding tax credits for good-paying jobs, helping the average homeowner with the price of installation of heat pumps, solar panels and other important steps. Millions of dollars have been raised so far and will fund programs that benefit all Washingtonians.

I – 2124:  A yes vote will make the Washington Cares Fund, (an affordable long-term care program for Washington workers), unsustainable. It is a lifeline for the middle class (similar to Medicare and Social Security) and can be used even if you move out of Washington state.
