If you are looking to participate in projects and actions, those opportunities will be shared through our mailing list. Where it is relevant, they will also be shared to the calendar and social media. Participation is not considered "volunteering" in the context of what we do - you are an activist participating in an action! Be on the lookout for those alerts if that is where your interest lies.

Other ways to get involved:
Take Action Network (TAN)

Your electeds want to hear from you, how you feel about the issues, and why. The Washington Indivisible Legislative Action (WILA) team use Take Action Network (TAN) to make it easy for you to have your voice heard on important topics like immigration; environmental policy; housing & homelessness; reproductive rights; voter registration; police reform; firearms purchases/transfers; diversity, equity, and inclusion in school curricula; fair wages; privacy; and lots more.

In under 5 minutes a day you can support/oppose bills, and send pre-written emails to your senator and representatives. The easiest way for YOU to do that is by signing up for Take Action Network (TAN).

Besides its amazing Legislative Actions, organizations around the state are using TAN to help you explore and take action at the Federal level as well.

Have a say in what we feature at meetings
SCI members always have the opportunity to have a say in the content at meetings. Know of a great speaker or documentary? Is there a specific topic you would like covered? A training we should host? We have even featured members as speakers at meetings. Send us an email with your idea!

Check the Volunteer section below for information on Breakout Group Leads needed for our new Connection Meetings.

Scout and Report on local information or news
Send an email to us about anything important going on in your area. Attend those school board meetings and town halls. If we don’t know it’s happening, decisions can’t be made about calls to action.

Resources

We are currently working on bulking up our resources section, but also collect information shared with us to offer to the mailing list and in response to those who reach out for help. If you come across a great resource, please email it to us.

Volunteering
Snohomish County Indivisible is a 100% volunteer run organization. No George Soros money here! The work we do would simply not be possible without the passion and dedication of our volunteers.

In the context of the work SCI does, volunteering is essentially a job. Some jobs are simple or one time only, but it is still a specific role you commit to doing from start to finish. These are the folks organizing and running events/meetings, performing administrative tasks, managing projects, etc.

Currently available roles (updated 2/24/26)
